Morning Observation:

This morning in Huntington at 7:00AM it’s currently 12 degrees under overcast skies. Winds are calm. Relative humidity is 91%, dewpoint 10, barometric pressure 30.14”. We picked up 3” of snow by 4:00PM yesterday afternoon and another 0.5” of snow overnight along with a light crusting from freezing drizzle. We have 20.75” at the stake. We may see some accumulation in the dusting to 2″ range, with amounts increasing south were Winter Weather advisories are still in place. Highs will be around 17 with light and variable winds. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Tonight should be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of light snow and patchy freezing drizzle. Lows will be around 8 above with light and variable winds.

High pressure will build in Tuesday bringing partly sunny skies with highs around 17 and light and variable winds. Tuesday night should be partly cloudy and colder with lows around -5 below wit light and variable winds.

Wednesday’s looking partly sunny with highs around 16 and light and variable winds. A clipper system will approach the region Wednesday night bringing cloudy skies with a 50% chance of snow. Lows will be around 10 above.
