Another shot of fringe ice and moving water. I like the almost “cellophane” quality of the water at this slow 1/8s shutter speed.

Morning Observation:

This morning in Huntington at 7:25AM it’s currently 26 degrees and snowing lightly under overcast skies. Winds are calm. Relative humidity is 78%, dewpoint 20,barometric pressure 29.75″. We picked up a 0.50″ dusting of snow overnight. 24hr high was 39, low 26.

Forecast:

It’s back to winter. A cold front will push through the region today bringing cloudy skies with scattered snow showers. Highs will be in the mid 20s with northwest winds 10 to 15 mph gusting up to 25 mph. Chance of snow is 50%. Tonight should be mostly cloudy until midnight, then become partly cloudy. Lows will be around 12 with northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
