A new beaver dam underway up off of Taft Road.

Morning Observation:

This morning in Huntington at 8:45AM it’s currently 24 degrees under overcast skies. Winds are out of the west at 0-3 mph. Relative humidity is 88%, dewpoint 21, barometric pressure 30.44″ and rising rapidly. We picked up 3.5″ of fluffy snow overnight and have 4″ on the ground. 24hr high was 37, low 23.

Forecast:

High pressure currently building in to the area will push the clouds out later in the day. We’ll see overcast skies with a chance of snow in the morning, then partly cloudy skies with a chance of snow. Highs will be around 39F with winds from the NW at 5-10 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Tonight should be overcast in the evening, then become partly cloudy. Lows will be around of 30F with winds from the SE at 5-10 mph.

Sunday should bring partly cloudy skies in the morning, then clear skies and warmer temperatures. Highs will top out around 50F with winds from the SSE at 5-10 mph. Sunday night should be clear with lows of 37F and light winds.

Monday’s looking partly cloudy in the morning, then mostly cloudy and warmer still with highs in the upper-50s and winds from the NNE at 5-10 mph. Monday night should be overcast with a chance of rain. Lows will only drop to the mid-40s with winds from the ENE at 5-10 mph. Chance of rain is 20%.
