A low pressure system will approach from the Ohio River valley on Friday bringing widespread rainfall in the valleys and a mix of rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow to elevations above 2500 ‘. Precipitation will wind down heading into Saturday but continued showers are possible throughout the weekend along with gradually cooling temperatures.

The view west from Stagecoach Road off Bert White Road on Sunday was lovely. The tawny leaves of oaks can still be seen on the hillside above East Street, and peaks of the ‘Dacks are peeking above the horizon.
