Morning Observation:

This morning in Huntington at 7:15AM it’s currently 45 degrees and raining under overcast skies. Winds are out of the west at 0-3 mph. Relative humidity is 93%, dewpoint 43, barometric pressure 29.80″ and falling. We picked up 0.35″ of rain overnight. Yesterday’s high was 46, and the overnight low was 43.


Periods of rain will taper to scattered showers as an occluded front makes its way across the region today. Tonight may bring some lingering rain showers early with clear skies overnight. Lows will be around 39F with west-southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain is 40%.

Friday should be partly cloudy early then becoming cloudy with periods of light rain later in the day as an upper level trough moves through. High will be around 58F with west-southwest winds at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain is 60%. Friday night should be partly cloudy with low around 39F and southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday’s looking partly cloudy early followed by increasing clouds with showers developing later in the day as another trough approaches from the west. High will be near 60F with south-southwest windsat 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain is 50%. Saturday night should be cloudy with showers. Low will be near 40F with west-southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain is 40%.
