I spent some time outside last night tuning in to VPR’s Eye-On-The-Sky Star Party with Mark Breen. We had mostly clear skies for part of the hour that the show was on, and I saw 11 Perseid meteors during that time. It was fun listening to Mark’s comments on the night sky and to listeners’ questions. Mark has a pretty amazing depth of knowledge especially when it comes to the myths and stories associated with the stars and constellations.
