Happy Valentine’s Day!

A southwest flow of warm air and embedded low pressure will keep our weather unsettled for the next couple of days.. Today we’ll see partly cloudy skies in the morning becoming mostly cloudy later in the day. Highs will be around 37°F with winds from the SSW at 5-10 mph. Tonight should be mostly cloudy with a chance of snow in the evening, then overcast with a chance of snow. Lows will be around 23°F with winds from the SSE at 5-10 mph. Chance of snow is 20% with little or no accumulation.
Wednesday should be overcast with continued mild temperatures. Highs will be around of 41°F with light winds. Chance of precipitation is 30% with valley locations likely seeing some rain/mixed precip with snow in higher elevations over 1000′. Wednesday night should be overcast with a chance of snow in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a chance of snow. Lows will be around 18°F with light winds. Chance of snow is 20%.
A more potent disturbance arrives Thursday. We’ll see partly cloudy skies with a chance of snow and rain in the morning, then mostly cloudy with rain showers. Highs will be around 46°F with winds from the South at 5-10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Thursday night should be overcast with rain, then a chance of snow and a chance of rain after midnight. Lows will be around 28°F with winds from the SSE at 5-10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Overall accumulations might – just might – bring us a few inches of snow in higher elevations by the time the system moves through. Fingers crossed…
