After a 2-week hiatus, it’s nice to be back! We had a great trip dropping off our daughter at Oberlin College in Ohio and then ambling our way home along the coast of Lake Ontario and the Thousand Island region. Of course, I managed once again to completely miss one of the biggest weather events in Vermont history, but c’est la vie! We’re still drying out our basement (many many thanks to our heroic neighbors for all that you did!) and the lawn is a hayfield, but we’ll get back into the groove a being home. The cats are happy!
